Acacia Therapy - Allied Health
A child's daily occupations include playing, learning and developing skills needed for every day life. We, at Acacia Therapy, work with children between the ages of 0 - 18 years to help them participate in these occupations and support them as they...... Live, Learn, Grow.
Acacia Therapy has a dedicated team of Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists that work with children only (no split caseloads). Our team is able to support NDIS participants and private clients between the ages of 0 - 18 years.
Acacia Therapy is a registered NDIS Provider, our registration allows us to provide Therapeutic Supports and Early Childhood Intervention to participants. This means we are able to support NDIA registered participants.

How we work
Initial appointment where you and your child get to met the Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech Pathologist (SP) (typically lasts 1hr and within our clinic). At this appointment the OT or SP will discuss your child's goals with you, ask questions about your child and family setting, make observations (and where necessary, undertake appropriate assessments). From here, we will develop an individualised therapy program and discuss where best to provide the support (clinic, home or school).
Fine Motor Skills (e.g. using their hands and fingers)
Play and Social Skills
Self Help Skills (e.g. toileting)
Behaviour and Concentration
Sensory assessment and associated strategies
Speech and language skills
